The Challenge

Schools, tuition centers, and testing providers face growing pressure to protect assessment integrity as generative AI makes cheating easier across exams and homework. Most proctoring tools are built for online exams only, leaving paper-based tests, in-person classrooms, and homework activity insufficiently monitored. Institutions need a fair, explainable system that gives human teachers and proctors evidence they can review — not a black-box accusation.

Our Solution

Focuspang AI Proctor uses Dr. Simon, a multimodal sensor-based AI engine, to analyze gaze, face and body posture, voice, keyboard, touch, stylus, and device interaction patterns across digital exams, paper-based exams, and homework activity. It detects suspicious events such as AI use, browser switching, abnormal input patterns, and context changes, while providing explainable evidence for human teachers and proctors. Beyond monitoring, it also trains students in effective exam behaviors such as sustained attention, proper device use, stable answering patterns, and responsible homework completion.
